🧰 What's included?

Our standard installation, clearly explained.

The advertised prices are based on a straightforward single-split installation. We use photos and room information to confirm whether the job fits that allowance.

✅ Standard starting price assumes

  • One indoor unit connected to one outdoor unit.
  • Back-to-back positioning on opposite sides of the same external wall.
  • Approximately 2–3 metres of refrigerant pipework.
  • Gravity condensate drainage with no pump required.
  • Straightforward access at normal working height.
  • Pressure testing, evacuation, commissioning and customer handover.
  • For most suitable single splits, power can normally be taken from a suitable nearby socket circuit via a local fused spur.

🟠 We review these before fixing the price

  • Longer or more complex refrigerant routes.
  • 💧Condensate pumps where gravity drainage is not possible.
  • 🪜High-level units or specialist access requirements.
  • 🔩Non-standard mounting or unusual structural conditions.
  • Additional electrical work where the existing circuit is unsuitable.
  • 🔗Multi-split systems. These require technical review and a dedicated consumer-unit supply installed by an electrician at additional cost.

A non-standard route does not automatically mean a site visit. Where the layout is clear from room dimensions, photos and a floor plan, AC BRUM can usually assess the project remotely.

❓ Common questions

Before you request a ZSP quote.

Does ZSP have built-in Wi-Fi?

AC BRUM does not position ZSP as our built-in Wi-Fi Mitsubishi range. If integrated Wi-Fi and Smart M-Air control are important to you, the ZTL Standard Plus is the better MHI option.

Does ZSP heat as well as cool?

Yes. The ZSP range provides both cooling and reverse-cycle heating for year-round comfort.

Which ZSP size do I need?

We choose the capacity from the room dimensions, glazing, insulation, ceiling height and expected heat load. The 2.5, 3.5 and 4.5 kW buttons above show the current AC BRUM sales options, not an automatic room-size rule.

What finish does the indoor unit come in?

The Standard Series indoor unit is offered in a Fine Snow white finish designed to blend into a wide range of interiors.

How far apart can the indoor and outdoor units be?

The Standard Series supports refrigerant pipe runs from around 15 m to 25 m depending on the selected capacity. The advertised AC BRUM starting price is still based on a standard back-to-back installation with approximately 2–3 m of pipework.

Do I need a site survey?

Usually not for a straightforward residential installation. Room dimensions, clear indoor and outdoor photos and a floor plan where available can normally give us enough information to quote remotely.

What warranty is included?

Our current offer includes a five-year parts warranty. Exact warranty conditions are confirmed with the final equipment and quotation.
