What is back-to-back installation?
The indoor unit and outdoor unit sit on opposite sides of the same external wall. The connecting pipe and cable take a short route through that wall, with a workable gravity drain and safe access for the outdoor unit.
A simple route helps keep the installation tidy and within the standard starting-price basis.
Internal walls, longer pipe runs, a pumped drain, difficult access or additional electrical work need a separate check.
